I find bit relief from your reply...
However I wanted your advice on assessment inclusion report that landlord asked me to get to start my rent again..I dont know what is that..he said I need to get my house listed in BMC's inclusion report-1984.
Can you please educate me on this, as if there any possibility to get this done then I can show this to my landlord and he will start my rent again, this issue will hopefully will get resolved..I am finding a new job and trying to stabilize my family and career, n suddenly this thing has come-up from no where...your advice will be a great help..

Pl. always keep all your corresspondence,mail, licenec, electricity bills, water bills, rent receipt etc (old and latest both) safely. If u have them then u dont have to worry. U r safe. When actually u have a problem then contact legal aid cell at high court for free assistance ( or if u know and can afford an advocate then keep in touch with him) . Stop worrying nothing can happen to you. But if he really threatens u again then lodge a complaint with police.
 
In the meanwhile dont spoil relations with any one including landlord. Fight for legal rights with peace and calm when time comes but be a good tenant and neighbour. Mostly chances r his heart and mind will change by then due to your good behaviour as well as due to law on your side. Stop worrying.

Hello sir,
My name is Mukhtar Shaikh, I am in need of immediate help from any one to give us guidance or watver possible by them.

My uncle and myself had purchased as small staircase property inside the building in Mumbai-B ward some 12 years ago. The place was existing in the building since 100 years and the landlord use to personally give it on rent.The landlord stayed at the top floor of the same building and we had cordial relationships and rent was paid on time.
5 years ago the landlord sold the building to some other builder, The old landlord dead 2 years ago. New builder took the rent for 3 years and issued rent receipts. Thereafter there were discussions of building going into tower, hence he issued the consent letter and took signatures on the same.
After that he stopped taking rent from us and when we asked him the reason he now says that your staircase is not in the assessment-inclusion extract of the building hence its illegal. However he mentioned that he himself stayed in the building and knows that place exist for past 50 years or since the building was constructed, but will not issue or accept the rent because the earlier landlord did not got this place in assessment order. and why should he give the house from his profits as he will not get FSI from govt.
Now he is threatening us and asking us to vacate the premises. I am handicap by birth and I do small job and my uncle has a tailor sewing machine in that place by which we manage our livelihood.
Builder is a big goon of the area with lot of underworld contacts and has many other businesses.

I personally went to meet him, he says that he can throw us out any time, police or court cannot help because we are illegal people..but if we can get the place in assessment order of 1984 then he will let us stay and he is ready to co-operate..I dont know is this some trap or can we really get that assessment order 1984. He says he will not FSI so why should he give us our house..I dont know whom to approach..we need help..Please help us....
