Sachin does not qualify for the award because the rule give this only for
social service, art etc not for sports. And in any case he plays for himself
... a consultant advises him which matches to play and which ones not to ...
He balances between risk to health and money flowing in. So need at all for
this award. Instead the cricket hype should be toned down by the media so
that precious timeof Indians is not wasted

Awards to all cricketers are given by politicians from tax payers money
indirectly using it for advertising themselves
